About Francelle Theriot

Francelle Theriot My instinct to create has been inside of me for a long, long time. Never limited by the status quo, and rarely politically correct, I’m adopting the name, Creative-Mother for this chapter of life.

The American life we are living here in south Louisiana is so colorful, and everyone who lives in these great United States today should be kissing the ground we walk on. From the swampy Cajun land where I hail from, to the mountains where we love to ski, and all the way to the beaches that beckon and tease, I'll be painting, and photo-ing, and philosophizing from a creative mother's point of view. I hope you'll join me on the journey and add some new hues and values to your moments.

Francelle Theriot is a Louisiana native, artist, blogger, sister, wife, mother, daughter, friend, and explorer. She has a long career in producing award winning art for the screen, print and interiors as founding partner of 2121 Design, a design firm that provides brand and digital marketing to clients since 1991. She earned here BFA from LSU in 1984.

Francelle is now focusing her energy on fine art to share her idea of beauty and emotion with everyone. Her eclectic style depicts American life from a creative mother's point of view, and includes watercolor, acrylic, and mixed media. She also draws much inspiration from her extensive travels to the caribbean and abroad.
